A Canadian company, U92 Energy Corp, is seeking to raise significant funding to advance its uranium project in Guyana. The company plans to raise up to C$7 million through public offerings and an additional C$1.5 million through a non-brokered private placement. The funds will be used to support the Kurupung Uranium Project, located in Region Seven, also known as Cuyuni-Mazaruni.
According to reports, U92 Energy Corp is anticipating approval from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its drill program this month. The company is based in Canada and is working to move forward with its project in Guyana.
