Account Deletion
You can request deletion from inside TG News or contact support. This page describes what the current process does and what may need to be retained.
Request deletion in the app
- Sign in to the TG News account you want deleted.
- Open Profile.
- Open your contributor/profile settings or Edit Profile.
- Select Request account deletion and confirm.
The request marks your TG Community and contributor profiles for deletion review, suspends contributor publishing and disables registered push-notification tokens. The app shows the request as pending.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@tringlobe.com from the address associated with your account. Use the subject “TG News account deletion request” and identify the account sufficiently for verification. Do not send passwords, authentication codes or payment-card details.
What is deleted or anonymized
After identity and request verification, TG News may delete or anonymize profile details, account-linked Community data, device-token links and non-required uploaded content. Firebase Authentication and storage records associated with the account are included in the processing review; submitting the request does not instantly erase them.
What may be retained
We may retain or de-identify limited information reasonably necessary for published-article ownership and attribution, newsroom integrity, transaction/accounting requirements, fraud and abuse prevention, moderation reports and decisions, security logs, legal obligations, disputes and enforcement. Content sent to another user or already published may remain in that context or be anonymized.
Timing and confirmation
Requests are reviewed rather than erased instantly. TG News does not currently promise a fixed completion period. Support can confirm the request and provide status after verification.
Delete individual content
You can delete your own supported Community posts from My Posts without deleting the whole account. For other data-specific requests, see Data Deletion.
