Terms of Use

These terms govern access to TG News, including news, Pulse, Community, contributor tools, subscriptions and promotional services. Effective date: August 30, 2026.

Acceptance and eligibility

By using TG News, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked below. You must be at least 13. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, use the service only with permission of a parent or guardian.

Accounts

You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your credentials and activity under your account. Do not share staff access or evade an account restriction. We may require verification for contributor, editor, commercial or sensitive account actions.

News and informational content

TG News content is provided for general news and informational purposes. News can develop rapidly and may contain errors or become outdated. Weather, traffic, hazard, health, financial and emergency information must not be the sole basis for safety-critical decisions; consult official authorities and qualified professionals where appropriate.

Community and contributor content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant TG News a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, translate, display, distribute and promote that content as needed to operate TG News and the destination you selected. For contributor publishing, this includes creating media, publishing to TG News and authorized distribution channels, preserving attribution and maintaining editorial/audit records.

You must have the rights and permissions needed for submitted text, images, audio, video, names and personal information. Community content is not automatically verified or promoted to official Pulse.

Acceptable use

Do not submit illegal, fraudulent, threatening, hateful, exploitative, defamatory, privacy-invasive, infringing, malicious or spam content; impersonate others; manipulate reports, trust or engagement; disclose private addresses or sensitive personal data; make false emergency reports; interfere with the service; scrape or automate access without permission; or bypass safety controls. The Community Guidelines and Content Policy form part of these Terms.

Moderation

TG News may review, label, restrict, hide, remove, preserve as evidence or decline content; limit features; suspend accounts; and act on reports when reasonably necessary for safety, integrity, legal compliance or enforcement. Moderation is not guaranteed to occur before content appears. Available appeals are handled through the support or in-product process applicable to the action.

Subscriptions and purchases

Premium and Contributor Blue may be offered as recurring digital subscriptions through Google Play. Store-displayed price, billing period, trial and renewal terms control. Manage or cancel through Google Play; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Restore Purchases can recover an eligible entitlement. Refund requests are subject to Google Play’s applicable process and law. See Subscription Information.

TG Coins

TG Coins are internal, non-transferable reward credits. They are not money, cryptocurrency, a deposit, an investment, withdrawable value or a guaranteed claim to any future token. Balances and rules may be corrected, withheld or reversed for errors, abuse, invalid activity or moderation, with appropriate records.

Promote With Us and advertising

Advertising services are subject to campaign availability, creative review, placement rules, payment verification and separate order terms. Payment does not guarantee editorial coverage. Sponsored and promoted content is identified and kept distinct from newsroom judgment. See Advertising Disclosure.

Intellectual property

TG News branding, software, layouts and original editorial content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for normal sharing and use of service features, you may not copy, republish, sell or exploit them without permission.

Third-party services

TG News relies on and links to services operated by others, including Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, maps, app stores, publishers and social/video platforms. Their terms apply to your use of them. TG News does not control their availability, content or decisions.

Availability and changes

Features may be changed, paused, limited by country or role, or discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, delivery of every notification, publication of every submission or continuing availability of any third-party integration.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using TG News and may request account deletion. TG News may restrict or terminate access for policy violations, security risk, fraud, legal requirements or harm to users or systems. Required publishing ownership, moderation, transaction, security and audit records may remain after termination.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TG News is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that the service will always be accurate, available, secure or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. TG News is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by use of, inability to use, or reliance on the service to the extent such limits are permitted by law.

Changes and contact
