Barbados Community College (BCC) held a meeting with parents following a series of student altercations that occurred on the Eyrie, Howell’s Cross Road campus around lunchtime today. Security reports indicate that no one was seriously injured. One student sustained a grazed knee after falling during the incident. Principal Annette Alleyne said the college had already reached out to the parents of the students involved. She emphasized the need for a “whole of country” approach to address violence, noting that the problems affecting institutions such as BCC are not confined to the campus.
