美中期選舉|特朗普大廈現「TRUMP OUT」字樣 網民瘋傳喊話「彈劾」

The 2026 United States mid‑term elections concluded on November 3 with a decisive victory for the Democratic Party. The party won control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate, overturning long‑standing Republican majorities in several traditionally conservative states. The result was described by analysts as a “political earthquake” that reshaped the balance of power in Washington. In the midst of the celebrations, a large projection appeared on the façade of Trump Tower in Las Vegas, Nevada. The building’s exterior was illuminated with the word “OUT” in bold letters, a visual statement that quickly spread across social media platforms. The projection was created by French artist Joanie Lemercier, who posted photographs and a short video of the installation on her social‑media accounts. In the accompanying caption, Lemercier said the 2026 mid‑term results would have a “deep impact on international politics.” Lemercier explained that her team rented a room approximately 200 metres (about 656 feet) from the tower and used a high‑power projector to cast the message directly onto the building’s gold‑tinted exterior. The installation attracted a large crowd of residents and tourists who paused to take photographs. Public reaction on social media was mixed. Some viewers praised the artistic approach, describing it as “creative” and “a perfect example of art.” Others suggested that the projection could be more provocative, proposing that Lemercier add phrases such as “Trump Impeached” or “Trump in Exile” in future projects. The artist has a history of using large‑scale projections for political commentary. In 2016, he projected a giant “X” symbol onto the façade of Buckingham Palace in London to draw attention to climate change and the urgency of global action. Political analysts note that the “TRUMP OUT” projection resonated widely because it captured the emotional response of the opposition to the Democratic landslide. The message, displayed on a building associated with former President Donald Trump, symbolized the shift in political sentiment following the election.
