**Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy exits game against Louisville with leg injury**

Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy left Sunday’s game against the University of Louisville after sustaining a leg bruise.

The injury occurred with 6:34 remaining in the third quarter following a 2-yard run in which Lacy was gang-tackled. The junior was assisted off the field and walked to the Rebels’ sideline largely under his own power. He returned for one subsequent play, serving as a decoy during a run by quarterback Trinidad Chambliss.

Prior to the injury, Lacy recorded 61 rushing yards and one touchdown on 17 carries, along with four receptions for 19 yards. He was replaced in the lineup by Makhi Frazier.

Lacy, 20, transferred to Ole Miss from the University of Missouri following the 2024 season. During the previous season, he recorded 1,567 rushing yards and a school-record 24 rushing touchdowns, helping lead Ole Miss to the College Football Playoff semifinals.

Also during Sunday’s game, Ole Miss receiver Deuce Alexander left the field after a 62-yard touchdown reception with 1:01 remaining in the third quarter. Alexander was evaluated in the locker room but later returned to the game. At the time of his departure, Alexander had recorded four catches for 144 yards and two touchdowns.

The game between Ole Miss and Louisville was tied 38-38 late in the fourth quarter.
