Teodora Sava, a singer from Piatra-Neamț, became the first Romanian contestant to reach the blind auditions of The Voice UK. On the episode that aired on Saturday, 12 September 2026, her performance prompted all four coaches to turn their chairs, securing her place on the show.
The coaches in the current season are Kelly Rowland, Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, and the duo Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones of the band McFly, who share a single chair. Sava was selected to join Team will.i.am.

Sava began her musical education in her hometown, studying piano, flute, and guitar at the Victor Brauner Art High School. She later attended the George Enescu National Music College in Bucharest. In 2013 she reached the final of the Romanian talent show Next Star, and in 2017 she advanced to the live rounds of X Factor Romania season seven.
After her early successes in Romania, Sava continued her studies at BIMM University London. She now performs in London under the name TÉODORA, working as a singer, songwriter, and producer. In an interview published in August 2026 by UD Music, she described her musical style as a blend of dark pop and R&B with Balkan influences, and expressed a desire to incorporate more Romanian elements into her work.
The four-chair turn in the 12 September audition marks a significant milestone in Sava’s career, extending her artistic journey from Piatra-Neamț to international stages and studios in both Romania and the United Kingdom.
