NSW Blues Crush Queensland 30-12 in State of Origin Series Finale

The New South Wales Blues put on a commanding display to defeat the Queensland Maroons 30-12 in Game 3 of the Ampol State of Origin series at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Wednesday.

Nathan Cleary was the star of the show, scoring two tries and adding four conversions and a penalty goal to lead his team to a comprehensive victory. The Blues raced to an early lead, with Cleary crossing in the 14th and 26th minutes before Cameron Murray added another try in the 29th minute.

Queensland fought back with a try from Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow in the 34th minute, but NSW maintained control. In the second half, Selwyn Cobbo scored for the Maroons, but Bradman Best and Hudson Young extended the Blues’ lead. A late try from Jojo Fifita provided little consolation for the home side.

The win showcased NSW’s depth and skill, closing out the series with a dominant performance on Queensland’s home ground. The Blues’ forward pack proved too strong for the Maroons, setting up a convincing victory.
