On Saturday, 19 September 2026, 53 Congolese youth received their certificates in airline hospitality and cabin service after completing a three‑month training program in Kinshasa.
The ceremony took place at the city’s aviation training centre and was organised under the supervision of the Ministry of Professional Training.
During the event, Natacha Bolombo, deputy general director of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, highlighted the significance of the training for the future of the national aviation sector.
“We are not here merely to celebrate the accreditation of a training centre or the graduation of a cohort,” Bolombo said. “We are here to talk about the future of our youth, our skills, and especially the future of our civil aviation.”
She added that the aviation industry demands a high level of professionalism, noting that courtesy, emergency management, and quality of service are essential to a carrier’s reputation.
Addressing the graduates, Bolombo encouraged them to continue learning beyond the certificate: “You are entering a demanding profession. Be proud of what you have achieved, but remember that training does not end with a certificate. Keep learning, improving, and working
