**ISLAMABAD:** Following similar measures and ongoing debates in several countries worldwide regarding minors’ access to social media, a petition has been filed in the Islamabad High Court to seek a ban on social media use for children in Pakistan.
According to the plaintiff’s counsel, the petition marks the beginning of formal legal discourse on the matter within the country. Further details regarding the court proceedings are awaited.
