Биляна Дудова ще се бори за бронз на световното

At the World Wrestling Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan, Bulgarian wrestler Biljana Dudova was eliminated in the semi‑finals of the women’s 62‑kg category after a 2‑5 loss to American Adagio Nwachukwu. Dudova had earlier secured a technical fall against Namibia’s Esther Abraham in the opening round. She then edged Belarusian Veronika Ivanova 3‑2, although the bout was tied and Ivanova contested a referee decision, losing the third point. On Thursday, Dudova faced the repechage winner, Turkey’s Sevyn Akbash, who had defeated Sweden’s Sara Johanna Lindberg, for the bronze medal. Despite a reduced squad, Bulgaria finished seventh in the team standings with 60 points, one point behind Russia, which placed sixth. Iran won the team title with 192 points, Armenia finished second with 104, and Uzbekistan came in third with 80. In the men’s events, Bulgaria secured the gold medal through Semen Novikov and a bronze through Kiril Mirov, despite disruptions to their preparation.
