Australia Investigates Near-Miss Collision of Two Planes at Sydney Airport
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau has launched an investigation into a near-miss collision between two planes on the tarmac at Sydney Airport. According to the bureau, a Jetstar A320 and a Qatar Airways Boeing 777 narrowly avoided colliding on Sunday.
At the time of the incident, the Jetstar plane was taxiing for takeoff to the Gold Coast in Queensland state. The flight crew reportedly saw the Qatar Airways plane and took evasive action to avoid a collision.
