Trump hosted Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the White House. During the summit, the leaders signed a joint declaration, and their respective foreign ministers initialed a draft agreement aimed at establishing peace and normalizing relations between the two nations. This initiative, referred to as the Trump Road to International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP), seeks to enhance regional connectivity and infrastructure.
Armenia is scheduled to host the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) next month and has expressed interest in welcoming an Omani delegation to the event.
