San Pedro Pet Outreach conducted a teacher training session on Wednesday, September 16, at the Castaway Resort to prepare volunteers for an upcoming animal welfare and environmental education initiative. The program is designed to be implemented in local elementary schools.
More than 20 volunteer instructors participated in the training. These volunteers are scheduled to deliver an eight-month curriculum to approximately 200 students across three institutions: New Horizons, Holy Cross, and Isla Bonita schools.
