Pelttari ve 5 eski SUPO çalışanı Helsinki Bölge Mahkemesinde hakim karşısına çıktı

Former director of Finland’s Security and Intelligence Service (SUPO), Antti Pelttari, and five former SUPO employees have appeared before the Helsinki District Court to face charges of unlawfully disclosing classified security information and violating security procedures. Pelttari is also charged with abuse of office. The court proceedings began today, according to a report by Yle, Finland’s national public broadcaster. The defendants claim they are innocent of all allegations. Pelttari, who served as SUPO director from 2011 to 2024, was appointed Parliamentary Secretary General in January 2024. He was removed from all duties following the charges filed in May 2025. The case centers on accusations that the defendants improperly shared confidential security information and breached established security protocols. Pelttari’s alleged abuse of office relates to his use of his former position to facilitate these actions. The court will consider the evidence and hear the defendants’ defenses before rendering a verdict.
