YouTube megastar MrBeast, born Jimmy Donaldson, has officially married his longtime partner, Thea Booysen, in a private ceremony on Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands. The intimate wedding took place before approximately 70 close friends and family, capping a week-long celebration that began on July 14.
Guests were treated to a range of island experiences, including snorkeling, kitesurfing, and other exclusive activities before the couple exchanged vows. The reception featured live entertainment, an upscale dinner, and a custom carrot cake—a personal favorite of Booysen’s.
Donaldson and Booysen first met in South Africa in 2022 and publicly confirmed their relationship later that year. Their engagement followed on Christmas Day 2024, marking nearly three years together before tying the knot.
Despite being one of the world’s most recognizable online creators, MrBeast has consistently chosen to keep his personal life out of the public eye. The couple opted for a small, family-focused celebration rather than a large public event or livestream, staying true to that commitment.
