**World Tennis Development Officer Highlights Support for Small Nations**
*Antigua and Barbuda –* Evan Heyliger, the development officer for World Tennis (the global governing body for the sport, formerly the International Tennis Federation), said the organization is working to help smaller countries, such as Antigua and Barbuda, produce more elite tennis players.
Speaking on the “Good Morning Jojo” sports show, Heyliger explained that World Tennis is actively seeking ways to increase the number of players, matches and high‑level talent emerging from nations with limited resources. He noted that the organization is currently on the island meeting with key officials and administrators to discuss these initiatives.
The conversation underscored World Tennis’ commitment to expanding the sport’s reach and supporting the development of tennis talent in smaller member nations.
