Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Lithuania, Timur Urazayev, met with representatives of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists and major transport and logistics companies on May 27 to discuss closer cooperation in investment, trade, and transport.
The meeting signals a strengthening of bilateral economic ties, with both sides exploring opportunities in transport corridors and artificial intelligence. The Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists welcomed the initiative, highlighting the potential for increased trade flows between the two countries.
Ambassador Urazayev emphasized Kazakhstan’s role as a key transit hub in Central Asia and expressed interest in leveraging Lithuanian expertise in logistics and AI. The discussions are expected to lead to concrete follow-up actions in the coming months.
