Izquierda salvadoreña confirma a médico y sindicalista Rafael Aguirre como contrincante de Bukele en elecciones

The Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN) has officially confirmed physician and union leader Rafael Aguirre as its presidential candidate. Aguirre will represent the Salvadoran left-wing party in the upcoming national elections.

Aguirre enters the race as a challenger to incumbent President Nayib Bukele. Current political analysis indicates that Bukele remains the clear favorite to win the election.
