蘋果據報要求供應商加快趕工iPhone Duo 上調訂單規模30%

Apple has reportedly instructed its suppliers to accelerate production of the company’s first fold‑able iPhone, the iPhone Duo, after the initial launch run sold out almost immediately. The iPhone Duo went on sale worldwide last Friday. According to industry sources cited by the media, the first shipment was depleted within hours, and the next batch of devices will not be available until January 22 of next year. Apple is said to have asked its upstream suppliers to speed up manufacturing and has increased the overall order volume by 30 % to close the supply gap. The demand for the new fold‑able smartphone has far exceeded expectations. Apple’s original shipment target for the current year was 6 million units. Following the order increase, the company has raised its forecast to between 8 million and 10 million units for the remainder of the year. Analysts predict that total shipments of the iPhone Duo could reach 33 million units by 2027.
