Sveriges Radio’s Barnradion has announced that the fifth annual “Läsovsläsning” (reading session) will feature a new lineup of storytellers. In a press release, singer and songwriter Niklas Strömstedt expressed enthusiasm for the event, saying, “When I was asked, I was very happy because I enjoy stories, whether they are for adults or children.” The program will run on the network’s app, with each episode released on Monday. In addition to Strömstedt, the series will include Ellen Krauss reading “John Blund,” Scarlet performing “Den lilla sjöjungfrun,” and Johan Rensfeldt of Movits delivering “Tummeliten.” On P4, a single story will be broadcast each day, with Siw Mamkvist serving as the first reader. The initiative continues Barnradion’s tradition of featuring well‑known artists and public figures reading tales for listeners of all ages.
