India and Japan Begin Veer Guardian Air Exercise in Jodhpur

India and Japan have commenced the Veer Guardian 2026 joint air exercise in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The exercise began on September 9 and is scheduled to run until September 22.

The drill involves frontline combat aircraft from both the Indian and Japanese air forces. It is part of a series of bilateral military exercises aimed at enhancing interoperability and strengthening defense cooperation between the two countries.

Veer Guardian 2026 is the latest iteration of the annual exercise, which has been held in various locations across India since its inception. The Jodhpur venue was selected for its strategic airspace and training facilities.
