Trinidad and Tobago can expect another hot and sunny Saturday, but periods of cloudiness, showers and possible thunderstorms could interrupt the sunshine as the day progresses.
According to the weather forecast for Saturday, August 22, 2026, Trinidad, Tobago and the Southern Windward Islands will experience generally hot and sunny conditions with occasional cloudy periods and showers.
There is a 30 to 40 per cent low to medium chance of isolated heavy showers or thunderstorm activity during the day.
Residents should remain alert during any heavier activity, as thunderstorms or intense showers could produce gusty winds and street or flash flooding, particularly in areas already known to be prone to flooding.
Conditions are expected to settle somewhat tonight, becoming fair to partly cloudy with a few showers.
Elsewhere across the Lesser Antilles, mostly fair conditions are forecast during the day, interrupted by isolated showers. A mild to moderate concentration of Saharan dust is also expected.
