Filipino rap artist Gloc-9 has released a new track titled “Tara G!” in collaboration with the online gaming platform GameZone. The song, which debuted worldwide on October 30, 2026, celebrates themes of friendship, shared experiences, and the Filipino spirit of togetherness. The track draws its title from the common Filipino expression “Tara G!,” frequently used to invite others to participate in social gatherings, games, and activities. Known for his socially conscious songwriting, Gloc-9 incorporates his signature storytelling style to highlight Filipino culture and camaraderie. The release serves as a central component of GameZone’s “Tara G! Sama Tayo.” campaign, which seeks to bridge the cultural tradition of Filipino card games with modern digital entertainment. According to GameZone spokesperson Ava Castillo, the partnership was designed to provide the campaign with a deeper cultural resonance. “We wanted ‘Tara G! Sama Tayo.’ to be more than a campaign line,” Castillo said. “Music gives us a way to bring that invitation into Filipino culture in a form people can hear, share, and make their own. Gloc-9 was a natural collaborator because his storytelling has always been rooted in real Filipino experiences.” The collaboration marks an effort by GameZone to expand its brand presence beyond online gaming by integrating elements of Filipino music and popular culture. “Tara G!” is currently available for streaming on platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Deezer.
