**Exatlon Hungary celebrity couple welcomes first child**
Budapest – The first child of former *Exatlon Hungary* contestants Vivien Halász and Viktor Kővári was born in mid‑August, the couple announced on their social‑media accounts on Wednesday.
The newborn, named Kristóf, arrived on 19 August 2026, a few weeks earlier than the expected due date, according to the parents’ statement. In their post, Halász and Kővári wrote that the baby “came into the world healthy and without complications” and expressed gratitude for the “gift of his arrival.” A photograph accompanying the announcement shows the infant’s hand.
Several former participants of *Exatlon Hungary* responded with congratulations, including Halász’s sister, Jázmin Halász, who also competed in the show’s most recent season.
Halász and Kővári first met as competitors in the third season of *Exatlon Hungary* in 2021, where they initially faced each other in team challenges. The format of the competition limited interaction between the “Challengers” and “Champions” teams, but a later individual phase allowed the contestants to share living quarters, during which the two developed a personal connection that led to a romantic relationship.
The couple became engaged in the autumn of 2023 at Tokyo Disneyland. Their wedding took place the following summer at the Vörösberényi Szent Ignác Catholic Church on the shores of Lake Balaton. The ceremony was attended by several TV2 personalities, including actors András Kása, Ákos Wald and Danny Jósa, who also participated in a traditional ritual in which the newlyweds broke ceremonial wooden boards.
The birth of Kristóf marks the first child for the pair, who have been public figures in Hungary since their appearance on the reality‑competition series. No further details about the child’s health or the family’s plans were provided.
