Eclipsa de Soare din 12 august 2026, vizibilă parțial din România

A partial solar eclipse is expected to be visible from Romania on August 12, 2026. According to reports, the eclipse will begin near the northeast coast of the Taimir Peninsula in Siberia, beyond the Arctic Circle, in a sparsely populated area due to the harsh climate. The moon’s shadow will then move towards the north, passing within 100 kilometers of the North Pole, and will also cross over Greenland and Iceland. The eclipse will be partially visible from Romania, although the exact extent of its visibility is not specified.
