*Dharmshala, Nepal – August 26, 2024* – A severe flash flood and accompanying mudslide struck the Rasuwa district of Nepal along the border with Tibet early Wednesday, resulting in at least 95 confirmed deaths and leaving hundreds of residents missing.
According to local reports, the sudden deluge of water, mud, and debris inundated villages, destroyed homes and infrastructure, and cut off key transport routes in the mountainous region.
