Beller declarará ante la Fiscalía argentina en investigación por presunta corrupción

Nadia Beller, a former partner of Argentine political consultant Fernando Cerimedo, has announced that she will testify as a witness in an Argentine corruption investigation that involves the government of President Javier Milei.

Beller said she will provide her testimony in Bolivia, where she is currently located, through an international legal assistance request. She will appear before the Departmental Prosecutor’s Office in Santa Cruz on 23 September.

In a statement posted on her social media accounts, Beller said: “I have publicly expressed my willingness to cooperate with the justice system, and because I respect the law, I will attend the summons and give my statement to the Argentine Public Ministry.”

The summons is part of an investigation that includes charges of fraudulent administration, fraud, illicit association, bribery and other offenses. According to documents released by Beller, the investigation was initiated in 2023 at the National Disability Agency (Andis) and alleges that officials and suppliers engaged in corrupt practices to obtain large sums of money illegally.

The investigation claims that Andis was used to channel illicit payments to companies that had agreements to distribute the proceeds. Beller’s involvement is significant because she made statements in August to the Argentine newspaper La Nación in which she alleged that Cerimedo had made remarks about alleged corruption in Argentina and offered to provide recordings of those conversations if requested by Argentine authorities.

Fernando Cerimedo has been detained in Bolivia since 18 August on charges of attempted femicide against Beller, alleged illicit enrichment, and a third case involving alleged gender-based violence against the lawyer. In September 2025, Cerimedo testified in the Argentine justice system as part of the bribery investigation at Andis and provided information regarding the authenticity of the recordings that sparked the case.

Cerimedo, who served as a communications strategist for Javier Milei during the 2023 presidential campaign and founded the website La Derecha Diario in 2021, remains a key figure in the investigation.
