Atlas Bangladesh Ltd., a state‑owned enterprise under the Ministry of Industries and part of Bangladesh Steel & Engineering Corporation, announced that it will begin marketing its Atlas EV electric motorcycles in Bangladesh on 5 November 2025.
The company has partnered with Zhejiang Luyuan Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. of China to assemble and manufacture the motorcycles locally, aiming to boost the country’s electric‑vehicle sector and promote environmentally friendly transport.
Four new models have been introduced: the S70, S80, S90, and S100. Each model is designed to meet different rider needs, ranging from daily city commuting to longer distance travel.
The S70 is equipped with a 60‑volt, 600‑watt liquid‑cooled motor and a 60‑volt, 23‑ampere‑hour graphene battery. It can reach a top speed of 45 km/h and offers a range of 60–70 km on a single charge.
Both the S80 and S90 use a 72‑volt, 1 200‑watt liquid‑cooled motor and a 72‑volt, 23‑ampere‑hour graphene battery. They can travel at up to 50 km/h and provide a range of 70–80 km per charge.
The S100 features a 72‑volt, 2 000‑watt liquid‑cooled motor and offers two battery options: a 72‑volt, 35‑ampere‑hour graphene battery or a 72‑volt, 32‑ampere‑hour lead‑acid battery. It can reach 60 km/h and achieve a range of 100–120 km on a single charge.
All four models share common safety and convenience features. They are fitted with 180‑mm disc brakes (the S70 also has a ceramic drum brake), anti‑puncture tires, and water‑resistant construction. The S70 weighs 95 kg, the S80 102 kg, the S90 121 kg, and the S100 128–135 kg depending on the battery. The S80 and S90 can climb slopes up to 12°, while the S100 can handle slopes up to 14°. Each motorcycle is equipped with an NFC anti‑theft system and a five‑year warranty on the motor.
