Two men were arrested in separate incidents in Ciudad Juarez on suspicion of drug possession, the Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM) reported on Sunday.
In the Olivia Espinoza neighborhood, police officers arrested 33-year-old Vicente Edgardo G. T. at the intersection of Carmen Allard de Borreguero and Mesa Central streets. Authorities reported that he was found in possession of a package containing approximately 25 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
A second arrest took place at the intersection of Zaragoza Boulevard and Aguascalientes Street. Officers detained 20-year-old Angel Gabriel U. R., who was allegedly carrying a plastic bag containing 19 doses of cocaine, weighing approximately nine grams.
Following the arrests and the reading of their rights, both individuals were placed at the disposal of the appropriate authorities to face charges related to health crimes and drug dealing.
