**BOGOTÁ** — Conservative lawyer Abelardo de la Espriella was sworn in on Friday as the President of Colombia for the 2026–2030 term.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several international figures, including King Felipe VI of Spain, alongside regional presidents Javier Milei of Argentina, Daniel Noboa of Ecuador, Santiago Peña of Paraguay, and Nasry Asfura of Honduras.
