Russian Strikes Hit Ukraine’s Kharkiv and Sumy Regions, Resulting in at Least Six Fatalities
According to local authorities, Russian strikes on Ukraine’s Kharkiv and Sumy regions have resulted in the deaths of at least six people. The attacks occurred overnight into Thursday, with three fatalities reported in the city of Balakliia in the Kharkiv region, and another three in the northern region of Sumy.
In addition to the strikes on the Kharkiv and Sumy regions, Russia also targeted two dry cargo vessels near Ukraine’s Black Sea port of Odesa late on Wednesday. Rescue operations were reportedly underway.
