Eastern Africa Power Pool ministers have agreed to expedite the establishment of a regional electricity market to enhance cross-border electricity trade and energy security. The decision was made during the 22nd EAPP Council of Ministers meeting in Addis Ababa. The initiative aims to support economic growth and improve energy reliability.
