Young Nataniel Picton Shines With Ambition, Faith and Entrepreneurial Spirit
Young Nataniel Picton is being highlighted as an example of ambition, hard work and determination in Sangre Grande.
Nataniel, a student of Bates Memorial High School, is preparing to enter Form 3 when school reopens in September. Despite being early in his secondary-school journey, he is already thinking seriously about his future and the career path he hopes to pursue.
His first choice is medicine, while engineering is another field he is considering.
Beyond his academic aspirations, Nataniel is also developing an entrepreneurial spirit. He can be seen making his way through Sangre Grande selling homemade treats, including kurma, pone and granola, while supporting the family catering business.
Nataniel also recently appeared on the What Yuh Know show, where his confidence and outlook left an impression. When complimented on his appearance, the young student quickly credited his faith, saying, “All the glory belongs to God.”
His story provides a reminder that young people across Trinidad and Tobago are already developing the discipline, confidence and work ethic that can help shape their futures.
