Yedau Ogoundele serves as the Director General of AFINHAB, formerly known as the Caisse régionale de refinancement hypothécaire de l’UEMOA (CRRH-UEMOA). She has led the regional institution since her appointment by the Board of Directors on January 30, 2023.
A graduate of emlyon business school, Ogoundele brings over two decades of experience in international financial markets to her role. Her career, primarily based in Paris and London, includes positions at Natixis and Crédit Agricole, where she focused on credit structuring, commercial development, trading, and bond issuance. She also served as the head of market solutions for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East at Bloomberg and worked as a Senior Advisor at SouthBridge, where she assisted with fundraising operations.
Prior to her current appointment, Ogoundele served as an independent director and member of the risk committee for the CRRH-UEMOA. She also led the development of the institution’s 2023-2027 strategic plan.
In 2026, the institution rebranded as AFINHAB to reflect the expansion of its activities within the housing finance sector. The organization is currently developing new mechanisms, including housing loan guarantees and securitization, with Ogoundele continuing to oversee operations as Director General.
