**UABCS Student Represents Mexico at Stockholm Junior Water Prize**
A student from the University of Arizona at Flagstaff (UABCS) is the sole Mexican participant in this year’s Stockholm Junior Water Prize University Cohort, a global water‑leadership program that takes place during World Water Week.
Shanni Valeria Mora, a UABCS student, will represent Mexico in the competition, which is organized by the Stockholm Water Prize Foundation. The event brings together young water scientists and engineers from around the world to showcase innovative solutions to water‑related challenges.
The announcement was made by the Gringo Gazette, which reported that Mora’s participation marks the first time a Mexican student has competed in the Stockholm Junior Water Prize University Cohort.
