**Trinidad & Tobago Cricket Venue Honors Three T20 Icons**
*Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago – September 1, 2026* – The Queen’s Park Cricket Club (QPCC) announced the renaming of a stand at the historic Queen’s Park Oval on August 31, coinciding with the nation’s 64th Independence Day. The former “Trini Posse” stand will now be known as the **Bravo, Pollard and Narine Stand**, recognizing the contributions of three of the country’s most prominent cricketers: Dwayne “DJ” Bravo, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine.
The stand’s new name joins a roster of existing facilities that bear the names of Trinidad & Tobago cricket legends, including the Brian Lara Pavilion, Deryck Murray Players’ Gallery, Jeffrey Stollmeyer Stand, Learie Constantine Stand, Gerry Gomez Media Centre and Cyril L Duprey Stand.
All three players have distinguished themselves in the Twenty‑20 (T20) format. Pollard has appeared in more than 700 T20 matches, scoring over 14,000 runs and taking more than 330 wickets, making him the most‑capped player in the format’s history. Bravo retired with 631 T20 wickets—a record for men’s T20 cricket at the time—and accumulated close to 7,000 runs. Narine recently became the second bowler ever to reach 650 T20 wickets and is the leading wicket‑taker in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
The trio’s achievements extend beyond individual statistics. They have secured multiple titles and individual awards across major franchise competitions, including the Indian Premier League, the CPL and other international T20 leagues. Their influence has been highlighted by their roles in the 2026 CPL season: Pollard and Narine are playing for the Trinbago Knight Riders, while Bravo is serving as a coach for the same franchise.
In a statement released by QPCC, the club said the naming “recognizes not only the players’ on‑field accomplishments but also their journeys from Trinidad & Tobago to the highest levels of world cricket, inspiring future generations.”
The Bravo, Pollard and Narine Stand will remain a permanent tribute to the three athletes and their impact on the evolution of T20 cricket worldwide.
