Trinidad Police Arrest 32, Execute 104 Warrants in Major South Western Operation

In a significant law enforcement effort, 32 individuals were arrested and 104 warrants executed during a Tri-Divisional Warrant Operation in the South Western Division. The operation, conducted by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, took place on Monday, 27th July 2026, between midnight and 6:00 p.m.

The initiative targeted individuals with outstanding warrants and was part of ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and bring offenders before the courts. The warrants executed included those related to Traffic Court, as well as affiliation and committal orders.

The arrests comprised 31 males and one female, ranging from 20 to 63 years old. The individuals were apprehended across several communities, including Siparia, Fyzabad, Penal, and others within the South Western Division.

The operation was spearheaded by ACP Remy, Senior Superintendent Thompson, and Superintendent Jaggernath, with coordination from ASP Forbes, ASP Corrie, and ASP Lewis. W/A Inspector Lewis-Atherton supervised the proceedings, and the South Western Division Court and Process Branch also participated.

This concerted effort underscores the commitment of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service to uphold the rule of law and ensure community safety. Investigations into the cases continue as authorities work to address outstanding legal matters.
