The district administration in Mansehra has temporarily banned tourists from traveling to Lake Saif-ul-Malook in Naran due to safety concerns. According to police on Tuesday, the decision was made on the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner of Mansehra, and Lake Road has been closed to all types of traffic.
Authorities said the restriction was imposed because of heavy rainfall and the risk of landslides in the area. The road will be reopened for tourists once weather conditions improve and it is declared safe for travel.
The closure comes as a blow to the local tourism industry, which relies heavily on summer visitors. Tourists are advised to avoid the area until further notice and check for updates from official sources.
