User-Generated Content Policy
This policy explains submission, review, visibility and enforcement for Community posts, contributor material, messages, tips and live-map reports.
Content categories
- Official TG News/Pulse: newsroom or authorized editorial content using red, yellow or green Pulse classifications.
- Community/TG Live: blue, unverified community or utility updates. They do not become official Pulse without authorized editorial review.
- Contributor content: submissions and publishing packages from authorized contributors, subject to permissions and editorial controls.
- Sponsored content: paid or promoted material identified separately from editorial reporting.
Review and enforcement
Automated validation, rate limits, duplicate checks, trust signals and human moderation may be used to prioritize or restrict content. These systems are aids, not guarantees of accuracy. TG News may reject, label, edit with authorization, hide, expire, remove or preserve content and may restrict accounts when content violates law, these policies or service integrity.
Prohibited submissions
Prohibited content includes illegal material; child sexual exploitation; credible threats; hateful or targeted harassment; non-consensual sexual content; doxxing; fraud; malware; deceptive impersonation; spam; fabricated emergencies; manipulated location evidence; copyright infringement; and content designed to interfere with reporting, moderation, maps or platform security.
Contributor responsibilities
Contributors must provide accurate source material, identify uncertainty, preserve relevant context, respect privacy and intellectual property, and follow editorial instructions. Scheduling changes only when an approved package publishes; it does not waive review or distribution rules.
Location-sensitive material
Residential or vulnerable-person locations must not be exposed precisely. Community live reports normally use generalized positioning. Exact public-place placement is appropriate only when intentionally selected and safe. Location and text must describe the same event area.
Removal and records
Deleting or removing content makes it unavailable through normal public views, but limited records may remain for moderation, security, audit, publishing ownership, disputes or legal obligations. Public articles may be corrected, updated, de-indexed or retained according to editorial and legal needs rather than silently rewritten.
Reports, blocks and appeals
Signed-in users can report supported content and block users. Authorized moderators review reports and record actions. Appeals are available where the product provides them; other concerns may be sent to support@tringlobe.com with the content URL/ID, reason and relevant evidence.
