Primo liceo del Made in Italy, iniziate le lezioni

The Antonio Tosi Technical Agricultural Institute in Codogno has officially launched the first Liceo del Made in Italy in the province of Lodi. Classes began on Wednesday with an inaugural group of 12 students enrolled in the first-year L class.

This new educational track, which features an agro-food specialization, represents an expansion of the school’s curriculum. The program is designed to provide a multidisciplinary education, integrating subjects such as economics, law, mathematics, natural sciences, physics, philosophy, and art history. The curriculum aims to prepare students for both university studies and direct entry into the workforce, with a specific focus on promoting Italian products and industrial excellence.

A key component of the program is the integration of theoretical studies with practical experience at the campus’s internal agricultural facility. Paola Re, a teacher at the institute, stated that the program aims to cultivate student talent while connecting the school with the local territory and its agricultural excellence.

Chiara Lombardelli, a professor of law and political economy, noted that the agro-food specialization aligns with the institute’s existing focus. She described the curriculum as a blend of humanities, sciences, and economic-legal disciplines delivered through innovative teaching methods.

Students participating in the new program expressed optimism regarding the curriculum, citing the diverse future opportunities it is expected to provide. The school plans to continue developing this educational path as part of its broader offerings for the 2026/2027 academic year.
