Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) has taken a significant step toward modernising higher education by training its faculty in artificial intelligence tools. The 12-day programme, titled ‘Artificial Intelligence for Everyone,’ was organised by the University Institute of Information Technology (UIIT) from July 13 to 24.
The initiative aimed to enhance teachers’ digital competencies and familiarise them with modern AI applications for teaching and research. Faculty members participated in hands-on sessions designed to integrate AI into their academic practices.
By equipping educators with these skills, PMAS-AAUR hopes to improve the quality of instruction and research output, aligning with global trends in education technology. The training underscores the university’s commitment to preparing both students and staff for a digitally-driven future.
