Plumpy Boss Opens Up About Recovery After Months Unable To Walk
Trinidad and Tobago artiste Plumpy Boss has opened up about his health and lengthy recovery, revealing that he spent approximately 19 months unable to walk following the incident that significantly changed his life.
Speaking during an interview with Hollywood Sachy, the artiste said his health is currently good, although he continues to deal with some challenges as part of his recovery.
Plumpy Boss said he does not expect everything to immediately return to how it was before, but he remains optimistic about his progress and continues to undergo therapy.
He revealed that he was down for approximately 24 to 25 months and, during that period, was unable to walk for around 19 months.
The artiste described spending much of that time at home, either in bed or in a chair, before gradually beginning the process of walking again.
He also spoke about the mental difficulty of the experience, particularly after previously living an active lifestyle that included performing regularly, recording music and playing basketball and football.
Plumpy Boss said the experience was extremely difficult and advised young people to avoid putting themselves in situations that could result in similarly life-changing consequences.
Despite the challenges, he expressed confidence about his recovery, saying he can already see improvements and believes that within the coming months his condition will continue to get better.
His mother also played a significant role during the period, with Plumpy Boss acknowledging her involvement and later describing her as an early supporter of efforts to encourage unity between himself and Kman.
The artiste has also returned to making music.
Plumpy Boss confirmed that he began recording again some time ago and already has several songs completed. However, he said he is not yet ready to release the material individually and is instead planning to include the recordings on an upcoming album.
He indicated that he intends to release the project in the future as he continues rebuilding both his health and musical career.
