Petrol Price Hits ₦1,350 in Abuja as Dangote Raises Gantry Price Again

**Petrol Prices Rise to ₦1,350 in Abuja After Dangote Refinery Raises Gantry Price**

Abuja – The price of petrol in parts of Abuja has climbed to ₦1,350 per litre, following a series of price increases by Dangote Refinery. According to the Atlantic Post Nigeria, the refinery raised its gantry price three times within an eight‑day period, pushing retail pump prices higher.

The move comes amid a broader petrol crisis in Nigeria, where consumers are grappling with the impact of global crude price fluctuations, competition from imported fuels, supply gaps, and persistent downstream costs. Despite the country’s recent expansion of refining capacity, the new facilities have not yet been able to offset these challenges for consumers.

The price hike reflects the refinery’s ongoing adjustments to market conditions, and it underscores the volatility that Nigerian motorists continue to face.
