Pakistani Lawmaker Sehar Kamran Warns of Saudi Energy Attacks, Urges Dialogue

Member of the National Assembly Sehar Kamran has expressed serious concern over reports of potential attacks on Saudi Arabia’s energy infrastructure. In a statement issued in Islamabad, Kamran described the situation as ‘extremely worrying’ if the reports are confirmed.

The lawmaker called for restraint and emphasized the need for dialogue to prevent any escalation. ‘Such threats not only endanger regional stability but also have global economic repercussions,’ she added.

Pakistan maintains close bilateral ties with Saudi Arabia, which is a key supplier of oil to Islamabad. Any disruption in Saudi energy output could impact Pakistan’s economy and energy prices domestically.

Kamran’s remarks come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, where energy facilities have previously been targeted. The Pakistani government has not yet issued an official response.
