The National Toshaos Council (NTC) Conference officially opened today at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre, drawing Indigenous leaders from across Guyana. Under the theme ‘Empowering Leadership while Building Sustainable Village Economies through Inclusive Partnership,’ the conference aims to foster collaboration and address key issues facing Indigenous villages. Discussions are expected to cover policy priorities, economic opportunities, and community-led development strategies.
