NEET Paper Leak: Will Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Resign? Centre to Decide Today

The central government is set to announce a key decision today on the demand for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation over the NEET UG paper leak controversy.

Protesters from the Karappanpuchhi Janata Party have been camping at Jantar Mantar in Delhi since June 20, demanding Pradhan’s resignation. The protest has drawn students, youth, and political leaders, and escalated after police action against demonstrators.

Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh held two rounds of talks with the agitators. The second meeting on Friday saw protesters insisting on Pradhan’s resignation. The ministers requested time to deliberate and assured a decision by noon today.

The outcome is being closely watched as it could set a precedent for ministerial accountability in exam integrity matters.
