A community bulk waste cleanup is taking place today, Saturday 24 October, in the communities of Caparo, Mamoral and Todd's Road, according to a video post by Councillor Ryan Rampersad. The effort is being led by Phillip Watts, MP for La Horquetta/Talparo, along with Councillor John Lezama and Rampersad himself. In the video, Rampersad says the team is in the communities with a bulk waste pickup and will be there all day. Residents are being urged to put out all their bulk waste for collection. The video message is direct: put out the garbage and the team will take it away. The cleanup covers three rural communities in the La Horquetta/Talparo area, giving constituents a clear same-day window to dispose of bulk items. Rampersad's post describes the effort as happening now and calls on residents in Caparo, Mamoral and Todd's Road to act. The video does not state how long the collection will continue beyond today or what items are excluded. Residents are simply asked to place bulk waste out for pickup while the team is in the area.
