Low water levels in the Danube River have led to the discovery of additional Roman-era artifacts. The receding water, caused by a prolonged period of drought, has exposed various archaeological finds along multiple sections of the riverbed.
The most recent discovery is set to be added to the collection of the Intercisa Museum. According to reports, several stone monuments and other historical items have been recovered from the river in recent weeks, particularly along the stretch near Dunaújváros. These findings are expected to provide further insight into the history of the Roman province of Pannonia, which existed nearly two thousand years ago.
