Curacao’s right‑hand pitcher Jaymiell Martina recorded 12 strikeouts over 5 ⅔ innings, allowing two hits and two walks on 88 pitches. Martina’s performance was complemented by a decisive RBI double in the fourth inning, the game’s only extra‑base hit. Curacao generated three unearned runs in the third inning before adding the RBI double, securing a shutout win.
